Cheques are a core pillar of our Local Matters Program and strengthen our community relationships. We are big on connecting with local matters groups hence why we encourage groups to come into restaurant to collect their cheques and celebrate their winnings.
By encouraging groups to return to the restaurant to collect their cheque, we create a great opportunity for repeat visits and genuine relationship-building between the group and the restaurant team. Since restaurant managers are responsible for choosing which groups go on their jars and when, this face-to-face interaction also helps build stronger ties with the local community.
Cheques also help us make sure the funds go directly to the groups and reduce the risk of any misuse of the program.
